I'm so glad y'all made a Substack as well! I absolutely adore Substack as a place to write more freely. Been listening to the podcast updates, and have followed your journey with Izzy and the moves through Jenn's amazing storytelling on IG stories.
Even though I'm childfree by choice, I've always enjoyed your family haha.
Love joining a journey into self-discovery; can't wait to keep seeing more as you grow the podcast and keep playing with ways you wanna show up!
Cierra! Whoa, so sorry for not responding to this comment... still trying to dial in my system here. More importantly, so glad to hear from you again!! I just did a quick review and I think our last interaction was a little over 3 years ago. Man, does time fly. How are you? Are you still doing the coaching business? I absolutely agree about Substack! I keep thinking I want to write more on here but get swept up by other priorities. -Brandon
Aw yay! You remember me! And no no, you're absolutely fine! I didn't get a chance to get back to you--as you said--nearly THREE years ago! I apologize!
It's a long story but I ended up having to drop coaching because I was caregiving full-time for my mom and she wasn't getting what I was doing, so she never really allowed me the time I needed to work with clients haha.
Fast-forward to December 2022 when she passed away and life's been SO different since! I've actually been a big center of my writing since rebranding (but I don't quite feel as aligned and like I'm the same person when I first started writing through it, so another rebrand is on the way!).
I actually shared with Jenn at the beginning of this year on IG how my mom and I appreciated her updates on Izzy! It gave her something bright and encouraging to see (Izzy healing and getting better) as her own health was declining. I think the last update she saw was when Izzy was going into her surgery for her cochlear implant and Emmy was actually upset about it!
I was caregiving full-time for eight years so 2023's been a year of navigating and living! REALLY rethinking my whole life and I've been asking myself, "... what DO I want??" Also experiencing a lot of new life things as a late bloomer, and therapy, and traveling! So it's been a more freeing year, I'd say for both me, and my mom. :)
It's completely fine! Keep playing around and see where you land with things along the way! I've thought about posting on YouTube but then I think about how well-rounded Substack is and how I just wanna lead people here... Honestly videos can be hosted here, podcasts... The community is spectacular as well! But there's never any rush. As long as we keep moving when we can, we'll find our way.
Ahhh! Sorry this was such a long reply! And thank you for stopping by my little corner! Y'all have a nice weekend!
Hey Michelle, thanks for this comment. It's actually the first thing in the podcast, but yes, I failed to mention it here even though I had intended. I'm going to update it now.

It seems odd that you would send this first update in years right now and bot mention the fires on Maui??
